Pre game entertainment farce....they’ve got Dragon playing & at the same time they’ve got what sounds like prominently drums playing from outside/underneath near the 50 metre line on outer side, absolute farce when the band gets drowned out

North too good, had all the answers & managed to kick goals at crucial moments, if not for Grigg the margin would have been far greater, Baulderstone had the worst game I’ve ever seen him play & he had a few mates as well, on the other hand North didn’t really have a dominant player like Grigg but they had 21 players that did their bit when it was their turn to do so, it was a complete team effort

NA kicked 19 goals and won by 19 points
What  game of football
I thought there was nothing between the 2 teams all day
NA deserved to win , some of the goals they kicked today were sensational

NA more direct going forward
NW frustrated supporters at times by being indirect , but without strong marking  key forwards, have to do that, got away with it most of the year, but not in a GF

Very good game. Amazingly open and attractive to watch.

I was surprised that Norwood allowed North's forwards to lead into open spaces so often

Again, accuracy made a huge difference

Finally, I salute Mitch Grigg, as good a game as I have seen for a long time - skill and lots of mental courage.

Congratulations to North, a terrific effort.

North's first 5 scoring shots were goals - which proved a big difference in the end.

40,355 - biggest GF crowd in 20 years - who saw the highest scoring GF since 1983. Befitting of the final match of the season, with the slightly ironic margin of 19 points.

North's outstanding team effort of hard running, precision isolation of forwards contrasted an unusually fumbly and resistant Norwood - despite one of the best individual GF performances I've ever seen with Mitch Grigg. The first Jack Oatey Medallist in a losing team, 6 goals topped a massive individual day.

Very well deserved 2018 Premiers, North Adelaide- the 1st team in SANFL history to go from 10th to Premiers (South bottom to top in 1963/1964 achieved in a 8 team 1963)

NW...3-7...7-11...12-14...15-15
NA ...5-0....9-4.....14-7...19-10

Heres some more equals

Both sides had identical 2nd and 3rd  scoring quarters
2ND..4-4
3RD. 5-3

NA have now played in 28 Grand Finals and are 14 wins and 14 losses
WA are 9-9

7-7 WWT
7-7 PA
15-15  NW

This is the 3rd year in succession the losing teams have had equal scoring goals and points

NW 15-15 is the highest losing score this century
WWT 4-4 in 2004 is the lowest
