On form you would have to say Norwood. They have turned Friday night at Coopers Stadium into a happy place for the locals.

EAGLES

League

The Eagles could have a midfield star play his first Macca’s League game of the season against Norwood on Friday night.

Former Crow Jared Petrenko has been included on a five-man interchange bench after spending last weekend with TV show House Rules.

Petrenko, who has also been set back by a knee injury this year, has been joined in the Eagles’ 23 man squad by ruckman Marc Borholm and midfielder Angus Poole, who has served a one-match ban with the SANFL IRP.

Small forward Jake Comitogianni has been sidelined by an ankle injury.

Defender Paul Stewart will play his 100th Macca’s League match after making his debut in the 2006 Preliminary Final.

Bought my budget last night, ends up it was a Glenelg V West Adelaide edition
I take up my seat in the stand and sit next to Bayman a Glenelg barracker
Just before the first bounce , they played the The Eye Of The Tiger song !

Norwoods next home game this season is in round 17
Perhaps the Rolling Stones song Little Red Rooster can be played ...

PS
The mature aged man with the beard who sells footy budgets at a few venues is a scream
Been buying budgets off him for years, at some venues he pronounces it a footy 'boochay'
He was kind enough to substitute my GL V WA budget for the NW V EG budget
