Round 12: Glenelg v Norwood - Saturday 8 July @ Gliderol Stadium

Post by Brucetiki on Mon Jul 03, 2017 8:46 pm

Glenelg v Norwood
Saturday 8 July
Gliderol Stadium

Reserves: 4:30pm
League: 7:10pm

The Glenelg lights will shine on two teams who didn't have good weekends last weekend. Who will shine brighter under the lights this week?

Not being played at Fortress Norwood so the Legs in with a chance.

Also who's the bright spark who schedules a game at night in the middle of winter FFS. Rolling Eyes

Obviously crowd attendance isnt the priority so maybe its a ploy to get people to pay for Digital TV.

Absolute lunacy.

Both teams need to respond after the disappointing nature of losses at the weekend adds the ingredients for an enthralling match. Think the Tigers at home in a close one.

Agreed Scrunch, both teams have to respond, from Glenelgs' point of view it'll depend on how many come back into the team, presumably Mcginty & Agnew will come in, not sure how bad the others are, our home form is first class so perhaps we might get there unless the wheels have fallen off, I think the first 10 minutes will be absorbing given how Glenelg finished & Norwood started last week, bays by 1 point

Agree crazy to have night games during this time of the year just too bloody cold to stand or sit for a couple of hours . Should be an interesting game as Glenelg are bound to bounce back after last weeks beating and Norwood looking for a better game after beaten by West . Think at home the bays might get up in a close one .

It will depend on who the Bays get back this week. There are 6 front line players out injured and if most don't return I think Norwood will be too strong.

We got back half of our injured players which is nice. McGinity, Agnew and Howard give us run which was missing last week. I reckon the Bays at home will win a close one in what looks like being a cold, wet and muddy affair.
