Really this does confuse me they decide I'm not on workcover if it was a work Xmas party and not a work awards function yes I would be on workcover.
But workcover is going to fight my lawyer in a tribunal .
Very strange to me they say no your not on workcover and fight what's price affective me on workcover or fighting my lawyer in a tribunal .
That's confusing

Just a quick medical update
Finally my therapists got me into see the rehab doc . Yep finally have medical Certs for three months well started October 21
I do have to see two different eye doctors one next week the other one takes 6 months to get in .
Interesting that it will take me if I'm lucky up to 2 years to be back to normal.
Hopefully I'll be great to make it to the footy
There are issues going on that my lawyer and social worker are handling different issues for each .
Funniest thing got a large bill from the RAH due to allied health helping me instructions were send it to workcover. Had to get social worker handle it and let them know not work cover . Seems the person at work responsible is on leave .
Which raises the question these say it's workcover , doctor, lawyer , union , RAH , social worker .
These say it's not employer and insurer.
But trying to get written proof from employer and insurer seems that's like finding the holy grail lol

Ok I'm a little confused here social worker had to contact my work they were under the impression I wasn't returning to work.
The people who said no workcover come back on light duties now .
Ok so my social worker had to talk to them over a letter saying I'd have a job to return to .
Oh no work needs to know the exact time and date I'm returning . Social worker said that's a bit hard to say just yet . He suggested she talk to two of the therapists as the doctor says when .
Now the person from work is supposed to call me after I spoke to the social worker on the phone I had to give him some paper work . Had she called me it was an hour after he called me nope not yet .
There biggest argument they don't think I can work were I was going to send me somewhere else but need to know now am I full time part time .
My god hey you get traumatic brain injury at a work function and it's oh he won't work his job of 21 years .
Funny when I've asked to move no no no

Ok perhaps I posted that to early
She still needs to know the exact time date im returning even after the social worker had told her they can't yet .
I was told she needs to know so they know if I can do my job . Or move me to another job .
Hells bells traumatic brain injury takes awhile
My life lol

Now I have recovered from yesterdays phone call those that dont know me in real life . yes i got stressed and so much more head pain from the stress.
Couple of things Firstly
1work told by a social worker who works for the therapy rehab place theres no set date time or what i can do when i return
2 So they pushed me for the same information i told them same ,
Still they need to know the date time and when im returning
3 They didnt like my certificate saying I had a traumatic brain injury . Me i did say its the truth i was hurt sober at a work function . didnt go over that i said i was sober as i dont drink
4 While they kept telling me from phone call one to get sickness benefits which i couldnt until the insurer said no to workcover im still awaiting the letter theyve sent my lawyer . But they are now going on i need to talk to someone if i have to i will but only if its private and not reported to work . Which like being married its like a wife finding something out lol

And while they know i have a lawyer they havent said they know whats going on i aint saying

Thanks Lee
Honestly this sickness benefits has created some issues for work
Lol they told me to get it
Myself and the social worker have got the ball rolling and works
Wait when are you returning they've been told not certain yet they need a date and time
I pointed out the date on the new certificate that in itself went over like a lead balloon
Really all this is workcover they won't accept it so think I'm good .
One reason I told the doctor it was ok to put traumatic brain injury on it .
I really thought I was tired of them thinking I had a head cold lol
And their worried I haven't been paid for five weeks but your still our employee.
Does get me thinking what will they do when they find out their insurer is being taken to a tribunal
That's life lmao
I do miss so much of my life

After all that which I posted I think really my work is saying in a very long winded way what they've been saying since day 1 or 2 out of hospital and rehab .
They want me back on light duties since then
If I need to see doctors take the day as sick leave .
Really their only concern is work .
They certainly don't care it's. Brain injury and I may fall over still .
Funny telling my social worker they don't think I want to work but if I do what am I . Funny before this I was full time now they don't think so .
And are saying I might get sent elsewhere to work when I said I can't drive yet straight over her head .
I can imagine being told to work at Elizabeth or Victor harbour lmao

Got my third CT scan thursday and Friday my first eye appointment (second one is on a six month waiting list )
Therapists are trying to get me ready for work its a slow process . Eye appointments are needed hopefully they'll be good i get my license back.

Not sure about my employer still needing to know when im returning exact date time what i can do, Work keeps saying i maybe moved to a different job . Ive asked social worker has asked therapists have asked they will not say what this other job is .
This from work makes it hard for the therapists to get me ready for work

I should add hopefully this CT scan will say yes or no to a fractured cheek bone one area of pain daily

I swear they said come back on light duties or get sickness benefits or if I can't do my old job a new job ,
And this person will call me weekly
I swear that's what she said

I'm considering not answering the calls that don't show their numbers
They can leave a message they were calling just before 5 the last call

get an answering machine & tape all calls & make sure that you say before you'll speak they have to identify themselves which includes ringing from a phone number that comes up not a private number etc

Just an update had my third Centrelink appointment today on the phone .
My social worker was here . Now I had a call last week I can't get sickness benefits as one of my certificates says permanent.
Ok but I can get incapacitated allowance .
But Centrelink idiot is going you need Newstart to find work social worker explained ok we had a form to fill out and send in my local branch will tell me yes or no . But she kept saying disability and had to be told I haven't been assessed enough for that .
Ok that ends social worker leaves .
5.15 my phone rings Michael this is such and such job placement ok why are you calling me .
Michael Centrelink made an appointment for you at 9 am today . Hang on I was just in a Centrelink appointment I've had a traumatic brain injury I can't work yet I have a job you need to talk to my social worker. Oh but you might do 15 hours a week umm I have a job I can't work yet you need to call my social worker gave him the number . Then says Centrelink have made this mistake and will call my social worker Monday .
I called them and left a message
So why are all these people including my employer going on about me working but can't accept I'm not fit enough yet .
Grr
You'd think ive been paid money
I got a part pay Dec 21 2015 then four weeks of 79 cents into my super . The same time my long service leave went to minus 1 something hour . Yet all I'm doing I'd seeing doctors and doing therapy
Suddenly I'm a bludger lmao
