The BIG show
I was surprised to see it was $8 in the press
It ended up being a very short priced favorite
Lots of ability, but like Glen Maxwell is a bit erratic

The BIG show is in race 7 Friday night drawn the pole
Still a maiden
Form reads 235262

The Nature Boy is running again in race 6 also drawn the pole
Did win a race last prep , since then has run 8 placings in a row
Career form reads 122222223

I think The Nature Boy (who is named after Ric Flair) will lead & win on Friday night, he may've run third last week (thankfully) but in doing so it cost his driver $400.00 by way of a penalty from the stewards

The BIG show was scratched Friday night
The Nature Boy got a well deserved win

Race caller Jimmy Jaques tipped the card of 8 winners at that meeting
JJ is perhaps the best harness tipster Ive ever followed
JJs tips are on the Unitab website

The 5rph trotting show will be revamped following the sad passing away of Tee
Trotting guru Trackman Eagle Scott did his last show on Saturday as well
Its a great pity, these 2 guys were a great combination

One of the replacements  will be Simon 'simmo'  Jones
That is an excellent choice
I have been impressed with his  media work in the past in particular with SKY

the other person doing the show is a guy whose first name escapes me so sorry for that, his surname is Newton, trackman was quoted this morning as saying he couldn't go on air without Tony

STANLEYVILLE STEAMER

Made its debut in 1974
Was narrowly beaten by Cara Winn
Connections might have been impressed with its debut , as it took several months to prepare Stanleyville Steamer for a racing career

Stanleyville Steamer raced in the United States
Stanleyville Steamer was a zebra

Mondays are almost always sky1 bar for a few days during the year, they won't race on Adelaide Cup Day because i believe there isn't any on course tote machines available, you are correct but all you had to do was click the link on the post immediately above your post Wink

David had a very bad fall when driving in a race at Victoria Park many years ago, he was going to give up then but as his body & well being improved, his desire came back, i'm sure with a young family to support he'll be back in the sulky when his body & mindset is in good shape, second handed at the moment he has no desire to return

Not quite Globe Derby but it is the trots- Tomorrow (Sunday) sees the finals of the Breeders Crown series for young trotters and pacers from Around Australia and NZ. It's a great day of racing so if you're sitting at home watching the footy, check the race times and flick over to Sky for the races. I haven't looked at the form closely yet (that's what the 10 minutes before the race is for right?) but I do like the chances of Missandei. She'll definitely be back able odds from her draw but she's won some great races this season and is good enough to win her final.
