Princess Grace died in 1982
Princess Diana died in 1997
Both died in automobile accidents
So we have 2 Princesses dying in similar tragic circumstances , both in Norwood Premiership years

The irony of it all is that Diana attended Grace's funeral

Marilyn Monroe was a real sex symbol and so was the great Garbo.
They didn't need to say things.
They photographed.
Name me a really true sex symbol in today's movies.
She does not exist.

Any girl can look glamorous
All she has to do is stand still and look stupid

By
Hedy Lamarr

When we talk of beautiful lookers from the embryonic days , Hedy Lamarr is one of them
She passed away on 19/1/2000 aged 85
Her daughter Denise was 55 on the same day Hedy passed away
Hedy would have been 100 years old in a few days time 9/11/2013

She played superbly as a seductive woman in The Strange Woman movie

Peidole Harrisonfordi is a ant
Calponia Harrisonfordi is a spider

Both these species were named after Harrison Ford
Ford is a known conservationist

When we talk of the great actors Harrison Ford is up there with the very very best
My favorite Ford movies in no particular order are
The Fugitive
Regarding Henry
Witness
Frantic
Working Girl

Ford portrays as a smooth, well composed and ice cool actor
Just about every movie whether it be suspense romance adventure is well played by Ford

The following actors/actresses all had something in common , apart from acting

Dean Martin
Peter Otoole
George Hamilton
Al Jolsin
Milton Berle

Stefanie Powers
Sissy Spacek
Carole Landis
Jill St John
Raquel Welch
Marlo Thomas
Barbara Eden

All had corrective procedures to fix up their noses

Marilyn Monroe had her nose corrected and her jaw remodeled when she was 23 years old

Lana Turner scrubbed up OK in her day
And so did Jessica Lange when she had a sordid affair with Jackyboy in The Postman Always Rings Twice
Which was the better movie Bayman, the Turner or Lange one ?

Jessica Lange was a real looker in her younger days
She is no Fay Wray , but males would go ape over both of them

Booney
In the 1955 movie
The Seven Year Itch
Marilyn Monroe has a breeze lift her dress upwards on a street scene
Her white dress flew up to a provocative thigh height
Marilyn manages to keep her dress secure with her hands, inches from seeing her underwear.
We have cum a long way since 1955

To bring a female perspective to this men's club Wink - Simon Baker is hard to go past from a hotness perspective. I remember back in the late 80's early 90's when he was still Simon Denny (or Simon Baker Denny) when he did a celeb appearance at Lennies.... Those were the days!!

I have this one on DVD.
Marilyn at her best.
Movies aside, certain scenes remain indelibly imprinted in your imagination.
Marilyn's dress over the subway scene is one of those.

In a word, "hot".

Moving right along, I have always had a thing for Kathleen Turner.

Sizzled in the 1981 "Body Heat".
Has a sensational jazz soundtrack to match.
Made mincemeat out of William Hurt.

Always thought she was something else in "Romancing the Stone" and "Jewel of the Nile" with Michael Douglas.

And then they reprised that body language with Danny Devito in "War of the Roses".

Among a few other screen gems, she was the bees knees.
